Blue and Gold - Max's Crossover

The end of February marked another annual event - the cub scout Blue and Gold Banquet.  It was extra special this year because Max officially crossover into Boy Scouts at this event.  It's our only year when all three boys are scouts in the same den so that made it extra special as well.

We started out with some fun games before awards and dinner.

So proud of these boys.  They have worked hard on all of their ranks since first grade.  They are growing into some pretty great young men too. One last flag ceremony as cub scouts.

William was just there for the desserts :)

Before we knew it the time had come for our biggest boy to cross from a cub scout to a boy scout.

Look at all of those proud parents!  Grandma, Grandpa, Nonna, and Nonno were also able to attend the big event.

Like it or not my biggest guy is growing up.  I have to say I'm enjoying some of these big milestones - although the idea of middle school next year still makes my heart beat a little faster.
