South Haven Beach Days

What an incredible summer vacation we had last week!  We absolutely love spending summer days in Michigan.  It's so beautiful and so much cooler than at home.  This year was the best yet because of the cousins!  Brian's siblings live all over  the country so we don't see them very often.  Last fall we threw out the idea of meeting in South Haven for a huge family vacation and it actually happened.  It was everything we could have wished for and so much more.

There was a whole lot of time spent at the beach enjoying the gorgeous views.  The boys loved every minute of it! Yes all of those kids were with us!  There were 10 kids ranging in age from 2-15.

Our oldest nephew playing with the youngest boy - he was only four months old when we got married and now he is in high school!

Uncle Tim was pretty great at digging that huge trench.

This picture might be one of my very favorites from the entire trip.  It makes me laugh every time I look at it!

That sweet girl right there is learning to drive!  I swear I remember driving through a tropical storm to meet here when she was just a couple weeks old back in 2001.

Grandpa Jack even got in on the water gun action.

With all those hands helping out the kids built some pretty amazing creations throughout the week.

These three cousins were all born within six months of each other.  Max is the oldest by a few months.  It is so much fun to see them playing together.

Growing up my cousins were pretty much my siblings.  It hate that the boys cousins all live so far away - but I it does make them treasure the time they get to spend together all the more!
