Science Center

We had a busy morning over here!  After church we headed to Brian's favorite donut shop then we headed to the Science Center.  Mom needed to get out of the house to do something fun.

Unfortunatly, the boys were not hte best listeners and we ended up cutting our trip short before Mommy lost her mind. As I type this I wonder if the donuts before our visit might be to blame for that awful behavior.

There were a few highlights on our short visit - Max LOVED controlling the Mars rover in one exhibit.  Everyone else had  a tough time getting it to work - but Max was a pro!

Jack thought it was pretty cool that he could press buttons and lights would show up on the giant replica of Mars.  The volcano was his favorite.

It was pretty funny listen to Max explain this astronaut suit to Jack - "You have to be this tall to go into space, you know so the suit fits."

Will tried his hand at astronuat training - he was supposed to look in the mirror to trace the star, but he thought that was too tough, so he just looked at the star directly.

The bridge over the highway is always a huge hit!

Jack and William had a good time learning about bridges.  Jack loved raising the drawbridge, and WIlliam had a great time realsing the suspenseion bridge so it fell in the water.  I guess it's the little things.

It's hard to believe that winter isn't even half over.  I'm getting really stir crazy over here - spring can arrive any time now!  These boys need to burn off some energy!
