Kindergarten Jumpstart

I love our school district.  There are so many amazing programs that they offer and today our sweet little William is taking advantage of kindergarten jumpstart.  It is designed to give the kids a taste of what they can expect in the fall.  I think it really helped Max to adjust, so we are glad Will  has the opportunity too.  He was over the moon excited about it all weekend and couldn't wait to head to the shuttle bus this morning.

Will isn't the only one that gets to have some fun!  The entire program is built to enrich student learning so its perfect for Max as well.  He got to pick from some pretty great class options and settled on a science class and a brain gym class.  The second session is taught by his MOSAICS teacher, Mrs. Klohman.  He is thrilled that he gets to work with her every day for the next three weeks.

It was so sweet watching the boys hold hands as they boarded the shuttle this morning.  I'm glad that William has his big brother to look out for him.  I can't wait to pick the boys up in just a little bit and hear about all the fun that they had.

I can't believe that before I know it William will be a full fledged kindergartner.  Its wonderful, and heartbreaking at the same time.  I know he will do great and it's such a pleasure to watch him grow and learn.  On the other hand he is just growing up so darn fast!  They all are.
