Valentines

With the Valentine box complete, it was time to move on to the making of the actual Valentines themselves.  Max and I ran into Michael's on Sunday morning.  Last year we did a heart shaped hole punch.  This year Max wanted to stamp.  After looking up and down the aisles we found a trio of car/truck stamps that Max approved of.  He picked out three ink pads and some special paper and we were set.  Once we got home the stamping commenced.

He took his job very seriously and it was pretty cute.  Each card got three stamps and then he passed them my way to write names on them.  His writing has come a long way this school year, but in order to complete the task in less than five hours, I had the honor of writing.  He was sure to remind me to write his last name since there is another Max in his room.
Each Valentine then had a packet of fruit snacks stapled to the back and we were finsihed.  Will hung out with us  in his big boy booster seat - and with his big boy haircut.  I tried to keep him entertained with a coloring book and crayons, but after he ate the third crayon I decided that wasn't such a good idea after all.  At least they are non-toxic, right?
